According to Michael I. Sherman, President and CEO of Prostagen Inc., “Each year in the United States, more than forty thousand men die of prostate cancer and approximately two hundred thousand men are newly diagnosed with the disease. An integrated software system for managing prostate cancer patients could markedly contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the care-giving team. I believe that the software system developed by Velos offers these important advantages. We at Prostagen look forward to working with Velos to make the software widely available to those individuals who treat prostate cancer patients.”

Velos designs, develops and markets disease management software for the renal disease/dialysis, transplantation, oncology, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery markets.
