Christie Stepp, Velos customer who
heads the Velos Transplant User Group, notes: “Velos made
substantial product improvements over the course of the past year
and has been very responsive to the Velos Transplant User Group. The
new modules and features they’ve implemented are great and our new
ad hoc reporting and analysis capabilities are awesome.”
John
McIlwain, President and CEO, summarizes: “In Summer 2001, we made
transplant a top priority and put a team in place to get the job
done, in partnership with our customers. That investment has really
paid off --- Christie and her team are well ahead of most transplant
centers today in their use clinical information technology and spent
far less money getting there.”
Christie Stepp continues, “We
just implemented the heart and lung module. We converted over 40
source files, with tens of thousands of patient, lab, medication,
and other historical records. Velos came in over the weekend,
migrated information current as of the close of services Friday, and
we went into production on Monday without missing a beat. And the
data was near perfect! It’s been a tremendous
experience.”
