Velos Receives ACC-NCDR™ Certification
Minneapolis, MN - July 29, 1999 - Velos Medical
Informatics, Inc. today announced that its Velos Cardiology and
Cardiothoracic Surgery information system has been certified by the
American College of Cardiology (ACC) for use by participants in the
ACC National Cardiovascular Data Registry™ (ACC-NCDR™).
Velos
Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery is a scalable information
system designed to meet a wide range of customer needs in the
cardiovascular market. “ACC certification is an important component
of our overall plan for the product,” said Dr. Shivinder Athwal,
General Manager of Velos’ Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery
Division. “Velos Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery has been
received very favorably in the market and we are excited about
delivering this added capability to our customers,” Dr. Athwal
added.
