The power of any data management system is in its ability to efficiently transform data into useful information. Velos responds to this crucial need by providing users with a tool to effectively manipulate data and quickly generate accurate, professional reports. Utilizing Microsoft Excel as its standard reporting tool, Velos Essentials offers a comprehensive Report Library containing pre-defined reports that are organized in a logical, clinical format.
Each Velos report contains 28 to 32 commonly used, extra data elements that may be utilized and incorporated through pivot tables to enhance analytical reporting. The “Add Fields” utility that Velos created allows additional societal core and customized fields to be added to standard reports. This utility increases the ease with which data is manipulated, while enabling the end-user to enhance the scope of the data being reported.
Velos Essentials users can also run ad hoc queries with Excel to create and save their own custom reports. Because of the Velos open database design, users can run ad hoc queries using other commercial tools such as Microsoft ® Access, SAS®, Crystal Reports™, QI Macros and Analyze It for more statistical analysis trending reports.
